Apsalotly CRAP went there for a saterday night out with family only 14 went to go watch Sharks night 3D they said I was too young but on the website it says PG13 whats the point in putting that on the site and not letting a 14 year old watching it and they rip you off on the prices and the food so I wouldn't recoment it... :\ they rewened the family out and we all fell out that night cos of the stupid cinema Ty Mates (y)
What a shocking place Showcase Cinema Nottingham is. Over priced ,ignorant staff that are extremely rude. Make a complaint they wheel out a manager! Then you understand Showcase Cinema Nottinghams problems! I was better off complaining to a chimp then again I think I was.
Last time that I went to this depressing establishment with its overpriced foyer sales and gloomy looking staff, I arrived ahead of the advertised film start time to ensure a seat. I then had to sit for five minutes in relative darkness before being made to endure 35 minutes of ads and trailers before the film actually started. The quality of film, sound and seating were good but trying to ascertain the start time of the actual feature film rather than the programme, is an impossibility as the only telephone number for the is constantly engaged.
They are not too worried about their customers
ToOK my daughter to watch Harry Potter yesterday at 12 pm, she wanted a drink and from the 5 ppl stood behind the counter not one came to serve us until i LOUDLY requested a drink, not a good start.
I had paid for premier seats and had printed out tickets at home, never having done this or had premier tickets before we just went to the ticket guy who let us through (eventually) cos I hadn't printed out the full part of the ticket with the bar code, we took our selves to the prem seats.
Just as the film started I was asked about why we where there, I explained and the guy left us, he returned with some goodies of nachos and 2 sauces, cakes and celebrations.
The seats are nice and the food ok but not what I would pay another £32 for, disappointed customer.
