New owners, since January 2011, have revitalised the whole pub. A mecca for real ale buffs, with at least 5 real ales available on hand-pump at all times. Regular mini beer festivals throughout the year, with two larger festivals featuring around 30 different cask ales plus real cider.
A friendly back-street local, with a real coal fire, where Linda and John work hard to make all feel at home. One of the best pubs for miles around.

Excellent pub for new real ales from new breweries. 5 hand pumps on the bar including LoCale from Oldershaw brewery. Fantastic Heavenly Blonde. New owners are doing a great job on updating this pub without spoiling its character. Best independent pub in Grantham. Really worth a visit.

Cracking pub especially to watch the footie and game of pool.
